First Impressions
The plot sounds interesting; a bungled mission that you have gone in to fix can lead to some interesting possibilities. The level didn't let me down for the most part.

Design / Visuals
Architecturally, this level was very well done. The outdoor areas were superb, as well as the caves. All were slanted, with varied floors and other visual niceties. The overall layout was probably a little too expansive; there were a lot of areas that had absolutely no point to the level. Texturing was also admirable, with a variety of different textures for both inside and out. Nearly each different room had a different texture scheme, meaning you don't see the same textures over and over again, except for outside, which, for a snow covered wasteland, is to be expected.
Dynamics / Interactivity
Item and enemy placement were where this level fell apart. There was, I think, one health pack in the entire level, and a couple of bacta tanks. At the other end of the scale there was a ton of baddies. And they were placed in such a way that they got at least 2 good shots into you before you could retaliate. For example you walk into a room equipped with the light saber (due to there not being much ammo) and get pounded by a storm trooper that is up on a ledge. There were quite a few new enhancements, like a new skin for the player (Luke) and a snowtrooper, and several ship 3dos. There were some new .cogs as well, including the incredibly annoying destroyable scenery one. I was stuck for ages with this particular puzzle, which really detracted from the level.
Playing Experience / Atmosphere
The lighting was pretty much day bright throughout the level, except for the caves, where it varied a fair bit. There was a small amount of sound in the level, around waterfalls and such, and underwater, but not that much. The level actually felt like a real Imperial base, and there was never any time that I said to myself ‘what is that guy doing there?' and all rooms had doors going out of it. Technically the level was perfect, it never crashed, and the framerate was pretty good the whole time. The only thing wrong with the level was that not enough was done with the plot. Only near the end do you see what happened, and there wasn't even an ending cutscene or anything. Once you killed the Dark Jedi, Kyle started to follow you, but the level ended automatically, and you didn't have to escape or anything.

Final Thoughts
Overall the level was a little short, and a little annoying, a little hard, and a little boxy indoors, but it was still an okay level. I admit that I had to turn on cheats to pass it, as well. If you are an above average Jedi Knight player, then this is the level for you. Other wise, I'd suggest you steer clear.
