First Impressions
Firstly, the author recommended that no one review this level without a 3D card. As I have one, it's not a problem for me. I guess to play the level it would be better to have a 3D card. This is a set of 3 levels, The battle of Hoth, the Odemp (an orbital space station), and finally the surface of Carni's (the new player character) home planet, Rosetta. Good first impressions. A nice opening sequence, if not faithful to the original text crawl. But that's a very minor point. We start with a flyby of Hoth, with speeders attacking AT-ATs, but non-moving, unfortunately. Anyway, we receive a mission, and are told that TIE Bombers are attacking Echo Base, and we have to stop them. Following we take control of an E-Web, and blast the TIEs to hell. Fun! After a nasty little surprise, we head off into an underground passage and the remainder of the level...

Design / Visuals
Overall, for Hoth, architecture was really good, with barely a cube in sight. Unfortunately, for the second level, architecture was not as good, but still better than average for what we normally see of space installations. Level 3 is in-between, as the architecture is a lot better than the the Odemp, but not as good as Hoth. Texturing was good in Hoth, with a variety of snow textures, and a lot of metal textures as well. Odemp was good as well, but Rosetta seemed to be made up of the same water, marble and rock textures. It probably could have done a little better there.
Dynamics / Interactivity
Enemy placement was really good. I was never on 100/200, but neither was I on next to no health, either. Item placement probably contributed to this, but the addition of the scope with the large open areas made it possible to kill a lot of the enemies before they saw you, making it basically using that and switching to the repeater when you were low on ammo. As I mentioned before, there is the shooting TIEs cog, and some cutscenes. There was also a new stormtrooper that threw thermal detonators at you.
Playing Experience / Atmosphere
Hoth felt really good, the coloured lighting did so much for it, subtle blue tints emulating underground passages. Odemp felt a lot like Nar Shadaa, and the Spire palace felt a lot like a wonderful castle taken over by the Empire. The level had high framerate while using a 3D accelerator. It didn't crash, and the only problem was that there was some HOMing in one of the door 3dos, seen several times, as there is a see-through part of the door. Although I enjoyed the level, the second two levels weren't nearly as enjoyable as the first, although they were still enjoyable.

Final Thoughts
The level was very impressive overall, so don't hesitate to download it. It's like the first ORS series, where the second level was really good, but the first and third weren't as impressive, but the levels were still enjoyable overall. It's like that here again, but in the second ORS series, the second and third levels are a lot better than Mos Eisley and Tantive IV from the first ORS series. I guess I'm overstating the problems of the levels, because they really are good levels. Be sure to download.
