It has been a year since Kyle's victory over the seven Dark Jedi. Even though the Empire's leader has fallen, the Empire is still on the rise to power. The New Republic has sent Kyle, a more formidable Jedi than before, to an asteroid mining base where the Imperials are remaking the Assault Cannon (a gun from Dark Forces). Kyle must retrieve a prototype of the ancient gun. The Moldy Crow was destroyed during the battle with the seven dark jedi, but the New Republic has rebuild it, allowing Jan to help Kyle once again.
