Background
This level is being developed as part of the Star Wars trilogy project. In the level, you will play as Obi-Wan, and your overall objective will be the deactivation of the tractor beam, as seen in the movie. Rather than going in guns-blazing, this mission will focus on discretion and stealth. You will have to avoid Imperial patrols and find inventive ways around tight security situations.

Features
The level will feature a realistic Death Star that allows you to visit all of the key areas from the movie. You will be able to explore the Falcon's hangar, the hangar control room, tractor beam controls, detention block, garbage mashers, and more. In addition, the storyline will follow the movies, and be supported by cutscenes in key areas. There are tons of new textures and new enemies are in the works.
Status
I've made some good progress on the level architecture and design (as seen in the accompanying screenshots). As the level becomes more developed, I'll be getting into the more advanced cogging and stealth aspect of the level. I'm aiming for a type of feel like the two sneaking missions from Rainbow Six, for any of you who have played that game. My intention is that you will have to use you wits to avoid the Imperial presence - things like running across corridors when patrols are looking the other way, and so on. All in all, I'm very pleased with how the level is looking so far, and if you have any comments or suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them. Until next time!
