Background
Strange goings on have been reported and a Jedi Knight has disappeared. Mace Windu boldly volunteers to investigate the spaceport on Malastare and retrace the Jedi's last steps in search of a solution to this enigmatic puzzle.
Features
This level will be one of the first for Jedi Outcast to actually feature a story conveyed through cutscenes with voice actors. If you've played my MotS levels, you'd know what sort of level of quality to expect. Although, I've tried to go for something completely different here. A new engine as well as a different part of the Star Wars era in which to tell the story in. This level is basically a mystery story which will very slowly unravell as the player progresses. There will also be lots of humour, which is usually rare for a level of this type but will add a lot to the experience. Expect some movie characters to make an appearance as well as some exciting new ones.
The level will feature a couple of new guns, which are mainly added for enemy use, but the player can pick them up and use them as well. However, the player will get a better experience playing with the saber only. The level will essentially put the player in the role of a Jedi in the prequel era. The level doesn't entirely revolve around combat though, there will be some non-combat objectives, puzzles as well as a bit of character interactivity.

Status
I'm about halfway done with this level. The architecture is nearing completion but I've got a lot of the cutscenes and little bits still left to do. I'm hoping for a Spring 2003 release.
