Background
If not for the Force, Sariss’ lightsaber would have killed Yun. His unexpected defense of Kyle Katarn brought her blade upon him. Left for dead, Yun regains consciousness at the bottom of the Valley of the Jedi. Alone and weaponless, he must get medical attention and find Kyle Katarn to get the necessary training to leave the Dark Side for good. This is the beginning of a series that has grown from a story I developed a few years ago. As Yun, you will make your way from the bottom of the Valley of the Jedi to a secondary staging area used by the Empire while they were developing the base in the main tower (from JK fame).
Features
I've planned the series itself in 5 levels. The first level is the current project and will be released by itself. Levels 2 and 3 will be released together, as will 4 and 5. Lots of cogging taking place, along with a new walkplayer, new wavs, new mats, new 3dos, newkeys, a few cutscenes, some comical "easter eggs", and many secrets. Although, the difficulty levels will not be used, the level is quite challenging since the player starts with extremely low shields and health, which often requirs fleeing instead of fighting.
Status
I've been able to make a lot of progress on level 1 the past few weeks. I've rewritten the story/script for the 6th time as well during this period as well. Here's my best guess on the latest stats:
- Architecture: 95% (around 1200 sectors)
- Texturing: 80%
- Lighting: 70%
- Cogs: 70% (79 cogs implemented so far)
